Heading over there right now! It's so sad how many women (and men!) feel bad about their looks and really let it run their lives. This is a really great blog.

For how long will we remain ensnared in our physical appearance? We need freedom from these socially dictated terms of life.

I once read a biographical article in a 'women's maagazine' in a doctor's office. This woman had all these amazing accomplishments in business and politics, but she said 'the greatest achievement of her life' was losing 30 pounds. I was so depressed.

Great video. Just came across this site and looking forward to more!

This is a wonderful video. And short enough to go on everyone's website. Spread the word!

I was born small boned and thin, I am 54 years old and 5'2" and 95 lbs. I consume great amounts of food but I have an extremely high metabolism and my body frame and size has been inherited from my parents. They were both muscular and lean. I have carried three perfect children full term including identical twins which did NOT arrive early and were perfect. If you have to starve to be rod thin, it's not healthy, period. If it's your normal physiological state then there's not much you can do about it. I'm tired of being called anorexic and stared at when I'm healthy as a horse.

Sure, I personally would like to loose a few pounds just to be a bit more active, and healthier. But in general I have extremely heavy bones (it runs in the family), and I am so very tired of going to a new Doctor and having them tell me I have to go on a crash diet and loose 50lbs. Only one doctor has ever actually realized I have these large, heavy bones. As long as I'm relatively active and stay healthy, he's okay with my weight. And so am I! I'm happy with my body, even if it's not a size 2. Because with my bone structure, I could never actually be a size 2. And you know what? That's okay! Everyone is gorgeous in their own way. Some people are petite and tiny, some people are tall, some are curvy, some are athletic... And that's all OKAY!

As a mother of a beautiful young woman, how important it is that we love ourselves and be healthy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I behold my lovely daughter who is 5'9" 135# and is conscious of her weight but only to the point of being healthy - Thank you God.

I have been bulimic on and off for 5 years. I am doing better, but not healthy, not yet.
This video just made me cry, and I never want other girls to go through what I have and am going through.
Talk to your daughters ladies, I don't care how old they are, they need your support even if you don't see it.

I am 16 and this clip really made me realise more than i already knew. its not just about Being Fat.. its about most women not being happy with their size.. never thin enough, boobs never big or small enough, to tall.. to small... ive always had an issue with my body and even concidered a boob job to help me. but i know that even with that i will never be happy with what i have like most other friends and women i know. it needs to stop !
